Happy Holidays from Candyfavorites

“What a long, strange trip it’s been…” I thought it only fair to quote the Grateful Dead when sharing what a fun experience 2006 has been… This was one of our most productive years and, I should add, it was great fun connecting with many of our customers and helping making their candy dreams come true….

Candyfavorites.com, our flagship site and sponsor, continues to grow and now offers close to 3000 (yes, that IS a lot of candy) products with new products added daily! We have a few surprises for 2007 which we hope will enhance the customer experience and introduce products that although forgotten are not gone…

Although, in my opinion, this wasn’t a year with great candy innovations save for a few select items such as Candyrific edible pen and paper and a few other novelties, it did show a strong resurgance in interest for classic retro candies… As I have long believed, people look for inexpensive ways to reconnect with their past or to a time when life was easier and I guess candy fits the bill.

One great piece of news is that we will be offering Brach’s Dem Bones for the 2007 Halloween season. We were able to locate the remaining inventory and although this classic item has been officially discontinued by Brachs, we have enough for another selling season. It’s a personal favorite and I couldn’t imagine a Halloween without this dextrose based candy staple.

Also, we were thrilled to be able to end the year with a substantial donation to Young Survival Coalition from the proceeds generated from the sale of limited edition Hershey’s Pink Candies.

It is an amazing organization focusing on support for cancer survivors and it was rewarding being able to utilize our loyal customer base for something other than a purely commercial transaction! We thank all of you who purchased these candies as your efforts made this donation possible!

On that note, I would like to personally thank all of the visitors to candyblog.org and candyfavorites.com for helping us becoming the internet’s largest online candy store. We realize that there are many online shopping options and want to be emphatic when we say that we take no sale for granted and greatly value your trust in our abilities.

On behalf of my staff, I wish you happiness, health, prosperity and sweet dreams in 2007!

Sincerely,

Jon H.PRINCE
President
