Candy May Be Dandy…

I always feel like when I write a blog for the Candyblog that I’m complaining, maybe I just use this place to vent. Well today is really going to be no different. Whenever I tell people that I’m the Candy Critic they always ask if I do chocolate too. I think chocolate is candy so, yes I do. I tell them that I also do chips and the occasional cookie as well. Then most people tell me that those aren’t candy at all. Well I’m here to tell you that these people are probably right, by definition. But I started Candy Critic because I like treats, junk food, confections, what ever you want to call them. I just picked the name Candy Critic because it rolls off the tongue well.

The only reason I mention this is because today I had an idea to write an article on the site about my favorite deserts. I’m expecting to get a lot of negative reaction about it, but deserts and candy are so similar. I mean if you eat a chocolate bar after dinner are you eating desert or are you eating candy. What if you had a slice of cake in the middle of the afternoon because you just wanted it, it’s not technically desert then.

I’m not really sure where I’m going with this particular entry today. I’m either just trying to promote my new upcoming article or trying to justify eating a bunch of deserts. You tell me.
